“Perfect in every way!”
Reviewed December 2015 on Tripadvisor
Where can I begin to describe such a wonderful Bed and Breakfast? I would soon run out of superlatives!
The B&B Orsini is perfectly located near the tourist harbour where the Aliscafi leave for the isle of Capri; near Naples’ main square, the Piazza Plebiscito; near Europe’s oldest opera theatre, the Teatro di San Carlo; and the picturesque pedestrian streets of via Toledo and the “Spaccanapoli”. The Orsini is also perched above the waterfront Esplanade, the via Partenope, lined with restaurants selling delicious seafood and Neapolitan pizzas.
The two rooms that we rented were well-decorated with a mix of antiques and modern furniture, were very clean and comfortable, and were well appointed. The street below was quiet, and our location on the third floor of a concierge-managed palazzo was serviced by a reliable and wonderfully ancient lift.
Husband and wife team, Gabriele and Manuela, who looked after us perfectly, always with a smile, and invariably with warm hospitality, run the B&B Orsini. They helped in organising our itinerary and spoilt us with delicious breakfasts, which were wheeled into our bedrooms on trolleys (with tablecloth, flowers, sfogliatelle, croissants, Pastiera cake, warm bread and butter & jam, creamy coffee & milk).
We ‘discovered’ Naples, and will be back again soon – and no prizes for guessing where we’ll stay. To those that consider Naples to be unsafe, please reconsider this. We walked everywhere, including the ill-reputed Spanish Quarter, and never felt threatened in any way. We took the (usual) precautions of not having cameras dangling from our necks, handbags, fancy watches & sunglasses, etc.
“My Home in Naples”
Reviewed November 2015 on Tripadvisor
I stayed here twice this year, first on vacation with my wife and seven-year-old daughter in June. I liked it so much that I returned by myself while on a work trip in Italy in November. As all the other reviews say, this guesthouse does everything right: clean, stylish, comfortable, quiet for sleeping, and nice breakfast. It’s in a great location on a peaceful street, but near good restaurants, gelato, and strolling along the water.
However, the best thing about this guesthouse is the hospitality of Gabriele and Manuela, as well as their helper Hector. They made me feel completely at home, and their recommendations for activities, restaurants, and gelato were so helpful. Gabriele mapped out a perfect day for us in central historic Naples. We followed his map and saw everything easily and efficiently, even in the midst of Saturday afternoon crowds. They truly love their city of Naples, and their enthusiasm is contagious. They taught me so much about Naples, and I feel like I got an introduction to the city that I never could have received anywhere else. When I returned to Orsini 46 on my second trip in November, they made me feel like I was returning home to good old friends.
“Great location, wonderful hosts”

I do plenty of research before selecting an accommodation and we were thrilled with this B&B. The hosts were friendly, helpful and take tremendous pride in their beautiful B&B. The tile work in the Capri room was beautiful. The room was very large and comfortable with a nice bathroom. We even enjoyed the old elevator in the building. We loved the location, being near the marina, in my opinion the nicest part of Naples that we saw with shops and restaurants within walking distance. We had a very early flight out of Naples and Gabriel was kind enough to bake us some croissants the night before and give us a bag breakfast to eat on the way. Highly recommended!! Book early, there are only three rooms.
